On February 24, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during a conversation with young people at the Koksaroy residence, criticized the heads of higher education institutions and warned them for not ensuring the employment of graduates. The head of state noted that only 12 out of 157 universities have made graduates entrepreneurs. Rectors who have not done anything in this regard were sharply criticized: “Where are the remaining rectors sitting? Why are they getting paid? Why, if they have a conscience, do they not hand over 50 percent of their salary to the treasury, to the state? We have no conscience left,” the president said. The head of state also noted that the head of state should tell the authorities about any problems today.
