New road sign in Uzbekistan

 According to the Cabinet's decision “on amendments and additions to traffic rules aimed at ensuring pedestrian safety”, adopted on November 30 this year, a new road sign “high pedestrian crossing” will be introduced, aimed at increasing safety on roads. 
The new road sign will be placed on the streets of cities and settlements, illuminated sections of roads of state and local importance at a speed limit of 30 km/h. In addition, it is installed at intersections with limited visibility and in front of squares covered with a “children's” sign. The decision took effect from December 5, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Transport and local state authorities were instructed to approve the list of places where the sign will be installed in 2025-2026 in two months.
