The legislation on licensing of non-state educational services for the training and retraining of drivers of motor vehicles and urban electric vehicles is being improved. In this regard, amendments and additions were made to some decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The document approved a passport for licensing non-state educational services for the training and retraining of drivers of vehicles and urban electric vehicles:

the license is issued to legal entities;
licensing authority - the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
2 times the GMP (660,000 soums) for consideration of applications and 10 times the GMP (3.3 million soums) as a state fee for issuing a license.

Documents that must be submitted to obtain a license:

Application;
conclusions of the fire and sanitary and epidemiological service authorities on the compliance of existing buildings and premises with fire safety requirements and sanitary and hygienic standards;
information about the teaching staff (drivers-guides);
Electronic copies of curricula and programs.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs checks the compliance of documents with licensing requirements and conditions within 15 working days after receiving the application.

It should be noted that in the decision of the President of Uzbekistan in December 2020, it was noted that from April 1, the right to organize exams will be given to the private sector. By decision of the government in May 2021, the private sector in the country received the right to conduct exams for obtaining a driver's license.
