North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has appointed his 13-year-old daughter, Kim Ju-ae, to a senior position in the country's Missile Administration, The Chosun Daily reported, citing intelligence sources. The administration oversees Pyongyang's nuclear and ballistic missile programs. Ju-ae receives military reports and sometimes gives orders. Observers say Ju-ae is being groomed as a possible successor to Kim Jong-un, an unusual move for North Korea's traditionally male-dominated system. North Korea has been ruled by the Kim dynasty since the 1940s. Pyongyang has not officially released any information about Kim's other children.
