Khairullo Ibodullayev said he refused to receive Russian citizenship

On February 28, Khairullo Ibodullayev, who returned to his homeland, was met at the Tashkent airport by his relatives, public and media representatives. The journalist asked Ibodullayev how he responded to the offer to receive Russian citizenship. Ibodullayev said that he did not accept the offer:
“Your country is a dead bed. No one else would have accepted this offer,” he said.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian State Duma deputy Nikolai Novichkov offered to grant Khairullo Ibodullayev Russian citizenship through a simplified procedure.
