It has been agreed to purchase 200 of the 12-meter-long, low-floor BYD K9UD eBus electric buses in 2024. Tashkent city administration signed a framework agreement with China's BYD company on the purchase of 2,000 BYD K9UD eBus electric vehicles.
According to the press service of the company, BYD delivers electric buses adapted to the local climate and road conditions of Tashkent city.
The K9UD eBus low-floor electric bus designed for cities is 12 meters long and can accommodate up to 90 passengers.
The first batch of 200 electric buses is expected to be delivered in 2024.
We remind you that at the end of September, a delegation of BYD management came to Tashkent and met with the President of Uzbekistan and the mayor of the city.
