11 districts and cities of Syrdarya province specialize in industry based on the Chinese model

An extraordinary session of the Syrdarya Regional Council of people's deputies is held in Gulistan.
Within the framework of the second initiative put forward by our president, 11 districts and cities of the region specialize in industry on the basis of the Chinese model, innovative technoparks are organized in each of them. It has:  

- innovative projects are carried out in the electrical engineering, biopharmaceutical, chemical, building materials, silk and food industries;  

- the status of a free economic zone is granted, and a simplified system of the” processing in the customs territory " regime is introduced;    

- production buildings are built on the basis of model projects and are issued to entrepreneurs ready-made through an “industrial mortgage;  

- this year, 200 billion will be allocated to the infrastructure of the Technopark.  

To finance investment projects, the Uzbekistan –China Investment Fund will be established in Syrdarya. The foundation is established along with China's prestigious Silk Road Foundation and other financial organizations. An investment of $ 1 billion will be brought into the fund.
