South Korean President Yun Seok-yol has apologized to the country's citizens for imposing martial law and vowed not to reimpose it. Yun also said his future would be determined by the ruling party. Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the ruling People's Power Party, called the president's resignation inevitable.
On December 17, the South Korean parliament is scheduled to vote on the impeachment of the president.
