7 tons of pilaf were prepared as part of the pilaf festival, which was held in the Garden “Boqiy shahar” in Samarkand. During the event, a video with a sharp criticism of the singer Star Usmanova, which caused traffic jams and reacted to this situation, became widely available on social networks. 

The festival organized competitions, craft and confectionery exhibitions with the participation of more than 200 pilaf Masters, foreign chefs, as well as concert and theatrical performances.
