Earlier, some Jewish activists and politicians demanded the cancellation of the singer's concert, protesting her statements on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in 2021. They accused Usmanova of anti-Semitic statements and launched a campaign against the concert.
The activists demanded an apology from the singer, but Yulduz Usmanova refused to apologize and stated that she stood by her position. Later, it was announced that the concert had been canceled.
