Young men who posed as women and demanded money from men were detained in the Chilanzor district of Tashkent.
Five young men, aged 18, 19, 20 and 21, deceived men via Telegram and invited them to their apartments under the pretext of a meeting. There, they threatened the victim, beat him, threatened to distribute an embarrassing video, and demanded 10 million soums.
During the raid, the suspects were caught while taking 5 million soums from the victim. The organizer of the group was previously convicted of sodomy. A criminal case has been opened and an investigation is underway.
