Young man loses hand due to pyrotechnic device

In Tashkent’s Yangihayot district, a 24-year-old man lost his left hand after a pyrotechnic device exploded. The incident occurred inside his home. According to his mother, she was in another room when she heard a loud blast and found her son seriously injured. He was urgently taken to hospital, where doctors had to amputate his left hand because of the severe injuries.

The Tashkent Police Department reminded the public that the sale and use of pyrotechnic devices are prohibited and urged parents to closely supervise their children.
