Ricardo Ten, a Spanish para-athlete who has been amputated since the age of eight, won the World Championship in Glasgow, Scotland, and was awarded a wristwatch as a gift from the organizers. Ten won a total of 6 medals (3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze) during the championship. As an additional reward, the organizers gave him a wristwatch. It is noteworthy that Ricardo has no hands. He took part in C1 class debates for people with severe disabilities. FYI, Ten is a professional paraswimmer (has competed in 5 Paralympics). As a child, he was struck by a high-voltage power line, as a result of which he lost both hands and his left leg. 75 percent of the athlete's body was burned in the accident.
