World Scholars in Uzbekistan: International Forum of Islamic Civilization Began

At the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the First International Forum of Islamic Civilization on the theme “Islamic Civilization: the Path of Peace, Tolerance and Knowledge” began its work.

The forum is held on July 7–11 in the cities of Tashkent, Samarkand and Termez, with participants arriving from more than 50 countries of the world.

Among them are about 300 state and public figures, ministers, muftis, heads of international organizations, as well as prominent scholars.

At the opening, Presidential Advisor Khayriddin Sultanov read out Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s historic address to the participants of the forum.
