Women who missed their flight tried to stop the plane
At Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport, two women who were late for their flight chased the aircraft onto the runway and attempted to stop it.
The incident occurred on July 25. The women had completed all pre-flight security checks but later entered an area of the airport that is closed to passengers. A video showing them running after the plane was shared widely on social media.
According to the airport authorities, the women were detained and handed over to FSB officers. Legal action is currently being taken against them.
