Woman who lay down in a bus lane in Tashkent taken to a sobering-up facility

A 50-year-old woman who lay down in a dedicated bus lane and blocked traffic in Tashkent's Yashnabad District was taken to a sobering-up facility, according to the Tashkent Main Department of Internal Affairs.

According to reports, at around 8:00 a.m. on July 25, the woman intentionally lay down on the roadway on Beshariq Street, disrupting public order and obstructing traffic.

During their interaction with her, law enforcement officers determined that she was under the influence of alcohol. She was then taken to the sobering-up facility located on the premises of City Clinical Hospital No. 4.

The Yashnabad District Department of Internal Affairs is currently conducting a preliminary investigation into the incident. A decision will be made in accordance with the law once the investigation is completed.
