Woman in Namangan Blames District Governor for Losing Her Home

In the Norin district of Namangan region, Salima Quldosheva left an open letter claiming that her family lost their home due to a decision by the district governor. She attached the letter to the wall of the container the governor had recently moved into.

In her letter, Quldosheva wrote that her mother died while homeless, her brother still has no place to live, and her family has been unable to return to their house for 13 years. The district administration reported that a working group has been formed to address the issue. Quldosheva has been added to the “Women’s Register,” and measures are being taken to provide her with practical assistance. The authorities are also monitoring the issue of bringing her brother back from abroad and finding him a job.
