A woman in Berlin gave birth to quintuplets at the same time. The delivery was performed by cesarean section at the Charite clinic in late September with the participation of 25 doctors. The woman gave birth to two girls and three boys. According to the clinic, the natural birth of quintuplets occurs in only one in 50 million pregnancies. Currently, the mother and children are healthy, they remain under the supervision of doctors. In Germany, families with children are also paid a monthly “child benefit”: for the first and second child - 219 euros, for the third child - 225 euros, for the fourth and subsequent children - 250 euros. The payment continues until the child is 18 years old, or until the child is 21 years old if he is studying or looking for work.
