Woman arrested for demanding money from friend to not share intimate photos

A woman was arrested in the Bukhara region for obtaining intimate photos of her friend through a fake profile on Telegram and demanding $6,000 in exchange for not sharing them.
According to the Internal Affairs Department, the woman, posing as a lover under the name Feruz, took private photos and videos from the victim. Then she demanded, “Either you give me money, or I will share your photos with your family.” During a special operation, the woman was caught with evidence while receiving the money she demanded. A criminal case for extortion has been opened against her and an investigation is underway.
