Woman and her lover jailed for plotting to have husband killed by a hitman
In Namangan, a 37-year-old woman attempted to have her husband killed by a hired assassin. Her 34-year-old lover assisted her in the plot. The incident took place in March of this year. In court, the woman claimed she had not actually intended to kill her husband, but merely wanted to scare him. However, the court found both her and her lover guilty and sentenced each of them to 8.5 years in prison.
