With the introduction of driver's licenses in Uzbekistan, electric scooters and electric scooters are going to be equal to cars

The relevant draft law was submitted to the parliament by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

We are talking about vehicles with an electric motor with a power of 0.25 kW and a maximum speed of more than 25 km/h.

The bill also includes:

▪️ determining the order of movement of individual vehicles;

▪️ installation of appropriate road signs;

▪️ Prohibition of driving electric scooters by persons under 14 years of age.

Also, from January 1, 2024, it is planned to submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the state registration of these motor vehicles and the issuance of individual license plates.
