F.N. Tashkent Botanical Garden named after Rusanov is one of the largest and oldest natural gardens in the CIS. Currently, the Botanical Garden belongs to the Institute of Plant and Animal Gene Pool of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In general, the first botanical garden in Uzbekistan is one of the most beautiful and expensive places, created in 1920 by students and scientists of the Central Asian State University.

Today, a modern garden with an area of 67 hectares is located in the northern part of the capital. The garden's collection includes more than 6000 species of plants. In the Botanical Garden you can meet more than 30 species of exotic birds that come to our capital.
