Thirty thousand bottles of wine, valued at €5 million, were stolen from the warehouse of a winery in Italy's Tuscany region. Reports indicate that the theft was carried out overnight on October 4 by seven masked men. They disabled the facility's alarm system, loaded cases of wine onto two trucks, and fled the scene. The retail price of a single stolen bottle is estimated to range from €150 to €500. Although the incident was captured on surveillance cameras, the suspects have not yet been apprehended. The winery's CEO noted that it would be difficult to sell such a large quantity of product without attracting attention. Company representatives have described the incident as one of the largest wine thefts in Italian history.
