Are we going to lose the "Botanical Garden"? - asks Rasul Kusherbayev.

According to the draft of the government decision developed by the Davactive agency, all recreation parks in Uzbekistan will be transferred to the "Directorate of Management of Recreation Parks" established under the administration.

Directorates are empowered to provide sales, paid services, facilities and land plots in recreation parks.

Under this pretext, the authors of the project want to give the "Botanical Garden" in Tashkent to this pocket directorate of the authorities, where there are rare trees and plant species belonging to the Academy of Sciences, where people go for clean and fresh air.

Unfortunately, in the past, many former governors of Tashkent visited the territory of "Botanical Garden".

If the park is transferred to the authorities, it will turn from an object of the natural world under the care of scientists into a business object. And the place of the arboretum will become a construction site. Because the mayor and his team do not have the capacity to do more. The goal: to make "socka".

But I hope the public won't stand by! - writes Rasul Kusherbayev.

Earlier, the Eco Party also opposed the draft decision of the Government.
