After the official's statement caused various objections on the networks, the Ministry of Transport denied this and said that those who travel on buses without tickets will pay a fine in accordance with the law. That is, only those who travel on buses without tickets will be fined in the amount of 37.5 thousand.

Article 144 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Uzbekistan states that traveling by a passenger on a trolleybus, tram, city and suburban bus without a ticket is subject to a fine in the amount of one tenth of the minimum wage, ”the official response of the Ministry of Transport says.
