Who will receive grants for master's programs in Kazakhstan will be known today

ASTANA, August 23 - Sputnik. The Republican Commission for the award of educational grants to the magistracy has completed its work, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education reported.

"The list of holders of state grants will be made public today," the ministry said in a statement.

14,612 people took part in the competition for the award of master's grants this year. The commission awarded grants to 8,359 applicants.

State educational grants, the ministry noted, were awarded following a meeting of the republican commission, which included parliament deputies, representatives of the ministry, interested state bodies, education trade unions, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and public organizations.

The list of holders of grants for master's programs will be published today on the website and in the Telegram channel of the ministry.

Enrollment in universities will be completed by August 28, 2023, the department added.
