Which country’s citizens do Kyrgyz women marry most?
According to statistics published by Kyrgyzstan’s deputy Dastan Bekeshev, from 2022 to the first quarter of 2026, 425 Kyrgyz women married citizens of Uzbekistan. Among foreign grooms, the ranking is as follows:
🥇 🇷🇺 Russia — 1,493 marriages 🥈 🇹🇷 Turkey — 610 marriages 🥉 🇺🇿 Uzbekistan — 425 marriages
In addition, during this period, 85 marriages were registered between Kyrgyz women and citizens of China.
