The head coach of the Uzbekistan national team Timur Kapadze took part in a press conference before the match with the Kyrgyz Republic and expressed his thoughts:

— An interesting match awaits us tomorrow. We feel how important it is. Preparations are going well, we will try to win at home, together with our fans. As a football player, I played in matches against the Kyrgyz Republic, but now the situation is completely different. Football is also developing there.

The guys are ready for the match, everyone is healthy. Due to the FIFA days, most of our legionnaires joined the training camp later. I think our players will show their best games. Injuries are an integral part of football. Because there is a real struggle on the field. A national team player must be ready for any situation. Of course, each player has his place, but the other players in our squad also perform at a high level and Husniddin Alikulov's absence is not noticeable.

Oston O'runov could not fully perform in yesterday's training session because he felt uncomfortable, he is now under the supervision of our doctors. We also brought Hajimat Erkinov into the squad, because every player is important to us. Football is a team game, so each player must be able to fill each other's places.

We play at home, so we will give our all. Until today, every match was held under high pressure, but the players withstood it and achieved the desired results.

I have gone down in history as the first coach to qualify for the Olympics. Now I have an important task ahead of me. We must accomplish this task together with our team. Everything is in our hands.
