“We will leave the mark of the Turkic world on this century” — Erdoğan

During Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s official visit to Turkey, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan highly praised cooperation between the two countries and especially noted Uzbekistan’s steadily growing role on the international stage.
He also expressed his commitment to Ismail Gasprinsky’s idea of “unity in language, thought, and action,” emphasizing that cooperation for the prosperity of Central Asia would continue. “If we unite from heart to heart, by the will of Allah, we will leave the mark of the Turkic world on this century,” Erdoğan said.

It should be recalled that yesterday, January 29, Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid a visit to Turkey and took part in the fourth meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council, where important bilateral documents were signed. He also attended the opening ceremony of the “Uzbekistan” residential complex built in the Arsuz district of Hatay province. During the event, apartments in the complex were handed over to their owners, and construction of an Uzbek school in Istanbul was officially launched.
