In particular, the chairman of the board touched on the situation that occurred during the anomalous cold last year. "During the anomalous cold last year, there was a gas shortage of 15-20 million cubic meters per day. As a result, there was a disruption in the energy sector, and a number of production facilities suffered significant damage. Naturally, if there is no energy, other sectors will also lag behind. A number of tasks have been given by the President so that this situation does not happen again, and we are working with all our might to ensure their implementation. We know very well where and what kind of problems there are, and we have found their solutions. With luck, an additional 15-16 million cubic meters of gas will be produced by Uzbekneftgaz JSC this winter. We have all the reasons for this. The winter we had last year also happened in neighboring countries. Therefore, we should not only look at the gas that we can get from them, but also think about expanding our own opportunities. Why should we look at the neighboring countries?" said the chairman of the board of JSC "Uzbekneftgaz".
