The situation in the Gaza Strip was discussed at the summit of Arab-Islamic states held in Saudi Arabia on November 11. In his speech at the summit in Riyadh, the Prime Minister once again emphasized that Uzbekistan supports Palestine and called on Muslim countries to preserve the integrity of Al-Aqsa.
In this regard, Abdulla Aripov said that Uzbekistan has allocated $1.5 million to provide humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip, and that Uzbekistan, among 120 countries, voted for a UN General Assembly resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The President of Uzbekistan addressed this conflict at two international summits.
He also called on all members to mobilize their capabilities to ensure the integrity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and other holy places in Jerusalem.
