US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed a memorandum of understanding on ending the war and normalizing relations.
The document consists of 14 points, which stipulate the following:
🔹 cessation of hostilities and ending conflicts
🔹 non-interference in each other's internal affairs
🔹 reaching a final agreement within 60 days
🔹 easing some restrictions on Iran
🔹 ensuring free shipping through the Strait of Hormuz
🔹 $ 300 billion program for the recovery and economic development of Iran
🔹 phased lifting of sanctions
🔹 commitment that Iran will not have a nuclear weapon
According to the agreement, the US will continue negotiations with Iran and work on a final peace agreement.
