Wages, pensions and scholarships to be increased by 7% in Uzbekistan

According to the presidential decree signed on June 23, starting July 1, 2026, pensions and some social payments will be increased by 7%. After that, the minimum old-age pension will be 983 thousand soums, and the disability pension will be 1 million 83 thousand soums. The base amount for calculating the pension will be set at 504 thousand soums. Child benefits paid to families included in the social register will also be increased, and will be 386 thousand soums for a child under 3 years old, and 295 thousand soums for a child from 3 to 18 years old. An additional 177 thousand soums will be paid for the second child, and 118 thousand soums for the third and subsequent children. The amount of financial assistance is set at 450 thousand soums.

From September 1, 2026, salaries and scholarships for employees of budgetary organizations will be increased by 7%. From this date, the minimum wage will be set at 1 million 360 thousand soums, and the base calculation amount will be 440 thousand soums.
