Violators of bus lane rules face fines of over 1 million soums

According to the amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses, which are under discussion in parliament, a fine of 3 times the basic calculation amount (1 million 125 thousand soums) is established for the first violation of traffic rules on lanes reserved for public transport, and 5 times the basic calculation amount (1 million 875 thousand soums) for repeated violations within a year.

To enter into force, the draft law must be adopted by the Lower House, approved by the Senate, and signed by the president.
