Unfortunately, Vincent Van Gogh lived only 37 years. He started painting at the age of 27. In this short time, the artist created 2100 works, 870 of which were painted with oil paint. Almost all of them are currently the most highly valued works of art. Only 1 painting of Van Gogh was sold during his lifetime. Nevertheless, for several years now, the works created by Van Gogh have been highly appreciated by art critics. This is the highest recognition for Vincent Van Gogh's creativity.
