❗️In Tashkent, on September 13, at the age of 31, the presenter of the program "With Her own eyes" of the Dunyo bo'ylab TV channel, Ramina Yagafarova, died. This was reported on September 14 by journalist Elmira Tukhvatullina. Information "Газете.uz " confirmed in the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Uzbekistan.
According to the agency, on the evening of September 12, Ramina Yagafarova came to a private clinic in the Chilanzar district to visit her mother.
Due to a sore throat, the journalist took a tablet of levofloxacin (an antibiotic) that she had with her. After about 10-15 minutes, she had a seizure and lost consciousness.
The doctor of the clinic gave her first aid, after which Ramina Yagafarova was placed in the intensive care unit. After medical procedures, she regained consciousness, her condition improved.
However, on the afternoon of September 13, the woman had a second seizure. Despite medical procedures, she died at about 17:50, the district prosecutor's office said in a statement.
According to the conclusion of the forensic medical examination, death occurred as a result of "an allergic reaction to the drug (levofloxacin), acute edema of the brain and lungs, acute respiratory and cardiovascular insufficiency, anaphylactic shock."
The Chilanzar district Prosecutor's Office is conducting a preliminary investigation into the incident.
