Uzbeks will have 5 consecutive days off during Eid al-Adha
In 2026, Eid al-Adha is expected to fall on Wednesday, May 27. In this regard, Uzbeks will have 5 consecutive days off from May 27 to 31.
According to the presidential decree:
May 28–29 are designated as additional days off for everyone;
And May 30 will also be a day off for employees working a 6-day work week.
So:
May 27 — Eid al-Adha;
May 28–29 — additional days off;
May 30 — Saturday;
May 31 — Sunday.
As a result, all employees, regardless of the type of work week, will have 5 consecutive days off.
