An aircraft caught fire at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The incident occurred after the Houthis claimed to have launched a ballistic missile at the airport, Reuters reported.

Witnesses reported seeing black smoke and flames rising from an aircraft at the airport. The fire was extinguished, but the extent of the damage to the aircraft remains unknown. Saudi Arabian officials have not confirmed the missile attack.

Following these events, some airlines suspended flights to Riyadh, and a number of flights were cancelled. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Saudi Arabia warned Uzbek citizens currently in the country—or planning to travel there—about potential changes to flight schedules.

Citizens were advised to verify flight and transit details in advance, avoid traveling to areas near the Saudi-Yemen border, adhere to safety protocols, and refrain from spreading unverified information.

According to the embassy, the internal situation in Saudi Arabia remains stable, though regional tensions could lead to flight delays and route changes.
