The United Nations passed a resolution demanding Israel withdraw its forces from the occupied Palestinian territories. 124 delegations voted for the resolution proposed by the State of Palestine together with dozens of other countries. Uzbekistan is among them. 43 countries abstained and 14 opposed.
Israel categorically rejected the resolution, calling it "a shameful decision that supports the diplomatic terrorism of the Palestinian Authority."
