❗️Uzbekistan to restrict cash purchase and sale of housing

On June 26, at a meeting in the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Mubin Mirzayev, First Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee, announced that cash purchase and sale of housing in Uzbekistan will be restricted.
According to him, this decision is being made to combat the shadow economy and make all major settlements through banks.
Now, housing purchases and sales will be carried out only through non-cash payments - through bank transfers. This procedure serves to reduce clandestine transactions and encourage legal trade.
