"Uzbekenergota'mir" JSC and General Electric Company signed a $60 million contract at the USA-Uzbekistan business forum organized as part of Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to the United States. This was reported by "Heat Power Stations".
It is noted that this cooperation is aimed at the modernization of power units of power plants in Uzbekistan. As part of the contract, in addition to maintenance of power plants, new spare parts will be delivered and dismantled spare parts will be restored.
According to Ilhom Rajabov, CEO of "Uzbekenergota'mir" JSC, as a result of cooperation, the final price of electricity will be reduced.
"With this, we will bring modern, highly developed and energy-efficient equipment to the electric power network of our country, we will introduce the most advanced technologies in the field, and as a result, we will achieve a reduction in the final price of the product due to the reduction of fuel consumption and digitization of production." he says.
It is also said that within the framework of cooperation, young employees of "Uzbekenergota'mir" will improve their skills through repair and adjustment works performed with the participation of American specialists.
