Humanitarian aid was delivered to Ukrainian children on behalf of public organizations and businessmen of Uzbekistan. Ukrainian Ambassador to Tashkent Mykola Doroshenko wrote about this on his Facebook page. It is noted that this aid package includes t-shirts for men, women and children, as well as 2,000 first-class kits. The set includes a school bag, a notebook, a drawing book, colored paper, a set of plasticine, a pen, glue, pencils, colored pencils, watercolors and a pencil case. The humanitarian cargo was received by the head of the International Society of Friendship of Ukraine-Uzbekistan Lyubomir Bashinsky. The kits for the first graders were handed over to the displaced persons center of the Zakarpattia region administration. They will be given to orphans and displaced children from Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Zaporozhye regions. In mid-August, NGOs and business organizations of Uzbekistan sent 10.5 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. A total of 785,844 hryvnias (about $21,282) worth of winter footwear, sports, children's and women's clothing were sent to Ukraine. Finally, the Embassy of Ukraine in Uzbekistan called on Uzbeks to provide urgent assistance to women and children who suffered in the war.
