Non-governmental non-profit organizations and business structures of Uzbekistan sent 10.5 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Ukrainian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mykola Doroshenko informed about this on his Facebook page. Humanitarian aid has already been handed over to the administration of the Drogobitsky district of Lviv region, the Department of Social Policy and the Council for Special Medical Aid of the Lviv region.
A total of 785,844 hryvnias (about $21,282) worth of winter footwear, sports, children's and women's clothing were sent to Ukraine. Also, medical syringes, medical cotton and infusion systems with a total value of 157,771 hryvnias (about $4,273) were sent. The Ambassador of Ukraine to Uzbekistan expressed sincere gratitude to the participants of the humanitarian action.
