Amina Mahmudova, representing Uzbekistan, won the international "Tatar Qizi – 2026" (Tatar Girl – 2026) contest held in Turkmenistan. She was awarded the grand prize—a Zeekr 9X car.
The contest took place in the city of Turkmenbashi. A total of 12 participants from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan competed, demonstrating their knowledge of the Tatar language, history, and national traditions, as well as their creative skills.
Amina Mahmudova studies at the Botir Zokirov National Institute of Variety Art and works as a vocal instructor.
For reference, "Tatar Qizi" is an international cultural and educational contest aimed at preserving the Tatar language, national traditions, and cultural heritage and passing them on to the younger generation. This year's final was held in Turkmenistan for the first time. The host country for the next contest is determined based on the home country of the previous year's winner.
