Ruziboy Sattorov, a World War II veteran from Kashkadarya region, has died at the age of 116.
He went to the front in 1941, served as a rifleman in the Battle of Stalingrad, and returned from the war healthy in 1945. Ruziboy Ota was known as the oldest war veteran in Uzbekistan.
In 2025, he celebrated his 115th birthday, and also fulfilled his dream of flying in the Air Force on the instructions of the president.
Ruziboy Sattorov is survived by 5 children, 58 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
