Uzbekistan's external debt exceeded $68 billion

 

According to the Central Bank, by the end of the first quarter of 2025, Uzbekistan's total external debt amounted to $68.4 billion. This figure increased by $14.9 billion in a year.

The volume of state external debt is $35.8 billion, and corporate debt is $32.6 billion. In January-March, total external debt increased by $4.3 billion.

According to the analysis, the bulk of corporate debt was borne by state-owned companies and banks.
