Uzbekistan's economy to exceed $180 billion in 2026

The plenary session of the fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum began with the participation of the President at the International Congress Center in Tashkent. Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the forum is attended by nearly 4,000 foreign guests from 100 countries of the world. In recent years, more than $150 billion in foreign investment has been attracted to Uzbekistan, of which $123 billion has been in the last five years.

The President noted that in 2026, the country's economy is expected to exceed $180 billion. Work has also begun on the creation of the Tashkent International Financial Center, which will introduce extensive tax incentives valid for up to 50 years for its participants. The forum paid special attention to the issues of protecting investor rights, strengthening international legal guarantees, and further increasing Uzbekistan's investment attractiveness.
