The American publication *U.S. News & World Report* has released its 2026 ranking of the world's most powerful nations. Uzbekistan ranked 71st out of 100 countries.
Among Central Asian nations, Kazakhstan was ranked 39th. Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan were not included in the ranking.
The ranking is based on countries' economic and military capabilities, political influence, international standing, and foreign trade potential.
China took first place on the list, followed by the USA in second and India in third. Russia ranked 11th.
