Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to make an official visit to Turkey

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will make an official visit to the Republic of Turkey on January 29, upon the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

During the visit, the fourth meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council under the chairmanship of both heads of state is scheduled to be held in Ankara. The discussions will focus on expanding Uzbekistan–Turkey strategic partnership, enhancing political dialogue, increasing trade turnover, advancing cooperation projects in priority economic sectors, and strengthening transport connectivity.

In addition, issues related to ongoing cultural and humanitarian exchanges, as well as pressing international and regional matters, will be addressed. At the conclusion of the high-level talks, a substantial package of documents is expected to be signed.

During the visit, the leaders of both countries will also participate in a number of joint events.
