Uzbekistan participates as a member of the UN Commission on Crime Prevention for the first time

Uzbekistan participated in the 35th session of the UN Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in Vienna for the first time as a member. Saida Mirziyoyeva reported this on the Telegram channel. More than 1,500 high-ranking leaders and experts from 175 countries of the world took part in the prestigious event.

During the event, a national report was presented on the reforms being implemented in our country in the field of ensuring justice, protecting the rights of women and children, preventing crime, and supporting youth.

The session also paid special attention to strengthening international cooperation, exchanging experiences, and developing open dialogue in combating transnational threats such as cybercrime, corruption, and domestic violence.
